After the success of 2021, The Extraordinary Film Festival is relaunching its ultra-short film competition!
Whether you are concerned or not by disability, professional or amateur, young or old, alone or in a group, TEFF gives you the chance to speak.
 
Make a 2-minute short film with a smartphone, a tablet, a Go pro or a mini pocket camera.
Show, tell, imagine what disability is for you.
Be creative, dare to use humour or intensity!
And try to win one of the 3 prizes worth €400 each! 

HOW TO PARTICIPATE?

Send your films before 31 July 2023.
To participate, read the different steps and click on "Register HERE" at the bottom of the page!
 
IMPORTANT :

• This competition is reserved for residents of Belgium, France, Switzerland and Luxembourg.
• The selection criteria: quality and originality, both in content and in form, are to be given priority.

STEP 1: MAKE YOUR FILM

 
WRITE

The theme is: "What is disability?
 
Tell us what disability means for you, from the perspective of your choice: humour, emotion, anger, subjective, objective...
 
All film categories are accepted (except animations): fiction, documentary, music video, experimental, docu-fiction. 
 
All genres are possible: romantic, horror, science fiction, western, drama, period film, anticipation, Z series, comedy, action, war film... But also stop-motion, time lapse...

SHOOT

Your film can ONLY be shot with a mobile phone, a tablet or a Go Pro camera.
The sound can be taken independently.

EDIT

Special effects, ellipsis, long-sequence shots, etc.
Have fun and break out creating your film!

The rule: 2 minutes maximum, including credits.

The music used must be either free of rights or with the agreement of the authors! (you can easily find royalty-free music on the internet)

Except for the title and credits, don't include subtitles in your film!

STEP 2: REGISTER YOUR FILM
 

REGISTER

Fill out the online registration form before 31 July 2023 (23:59 GMT+1). Don't forget to read and accept the competition rules, which are at the beginning of the form, and available at the bottom of this page.   
 

SEND YOUR FILM

Send us your film and the list of dialogues in French and timecoded, before 31 July 2023 (23:59 GMT+1) to films{a}teff.be. 
Use a file transfer server such as WeTransfer, SwissTransfer, Air Bridge, etc.  
Don't forget to mention the title of your film, as well as your first and last name, so that we can easily find the corresponding form.
The name of the video file must not contain any special characters.

Once you have submitted your form and sent your film, you will receive an e-mail confirming your registration and an e-mail confirming receipt of your film (remember to check your spam!)
